SCAG Debris maintenance range

The arrival towards the end of 2020 of the ride-on Windstorm blower certainly showed there was a place in the market for it as it added to the 2020/2021 season’s sales. The range of SCAG blowers starts with three popular wheeled blowers at 6.5hp, 8.5hp and 11.7hp, followed by the Windstorm and then the truck-mounted or trailed models going from 18hp up to 48hp.

The Windstorm is a variation on the popular V-Ride Stand-On mower models. The operator stands at the back of the machine leaning forwards slightly on a cushion. The cyclone is operated by a 37hp motor and has an air output figure of 6000 cfm.

The productivity rates with all the SCAG range of blowers is up to the high standard customers can expect from the company, but the Windstorm is outstanding – and the reports received from customers are confirming this. An example is a job originally shared amongst 6 operatives over a large area, taking 30 minutes in total - can now be done by one man in 20 minutes.
