Rigby Taylor adds to turf fertilizer range

The Apex organic range from Rigby Taylor now includes high organic, low salt analyses rich in humic acid.

Apex organic offers enhanced plant resistance to disease and plant stress disease, improved root mass, stimulation of microbial activity and slow sustained growth.

The homogenous, 1-2mm micro compound granule formulations provide conventional and slow release of nutrients that offer flexible, accurate and uniform application. Many of the products contain Polyhalite, an organic source of Nitrogen, Calcium and Magnesium that helps to strengthen cell walls, making plant tissue less susceptible to damage.

The Microfine range has had six added low sulphur analyses to the range.

Sulphur is an important nutrient for plant health but has been shown that constant applications of products high in this nutrient can lower pH levels and exacerbate Black Layer formation, reduce soil oxygen levels and encourage anaerobic bacteria which respire hydrogen sulphide that is toxic to plant roots.

Mini-granular formulations provide slow and conventional release forms of Nitrogen with number containing Methylene Urea that release N in sync with the plants requirements. Formulations also contain iron and magnesium, with two offering cold start benefits.
