New tractor from Rapid

The Rapid Euro 2-wheel tractor, our most successful tractor for the last 20 years, has now been replaced by a new model, the Rapid Varea.

The Varea is available in two versions, the S series which is completely electronic in operation and the M Series which is a little simpler retaining the use of cable operation for control.

This is a new tractor from the ground up and many new features have been incorporated within it. Power come from Briggs and Stratton petrol engines with 14hp, 16hp or 23hp.

A completely new hydrostatic transmission has been designed which uses less engine power and therefore runs more efficiently. The axle now has a zero turn which is controlled by two methods of steering, traditional lever or through handlebar movement. This is switchable depending on preference.

Clutch and PTO engagement is now electronically controlled to make the operation smooth and light for the operator. Various wheel sizes can be fitted depending on the task, including floatation, duals and sprocket wheels for working safely on slopes.
