New professional STIHL robotic lawn mower with team functionality for maintaining lawns and sports pitches up to 8000m2

New professional STIHL robotic lawn mower with team functionality for maintaining lawns and sports pitches up to 8000m2

STIHL has expanded its range of robotic lawn mowers with the introduction of the professional grade iMOW 7 PRO. Thanks to the new Teams Function, up to three iMOW 7 PRO machines can work in one mowing area to rapidly maintain lawns and sports pitches up to 8000m2 in size, with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

The iMOW 7 PRO offers professionals and businesses a cost-effective and reliable way of ensuring a high-quality finish to their grounds, while allowing operatives more time to focus on other value-adding tasks.

The Teams Function, combined with the fast drive speed and short mowing times, ensures that the iMOW 7 PRO cuts the grass quickly with minimal disruption. The mowing timetable can be customised easily in the My iMOW App, allowing mowing periods to work seamlessly alongside the activities on the sports pitch.

Thanks to the wired installation method, the iMOW 7 PRO works reliably in shaded areas and complex lawns, regardless of signal reception. The intelligent charging management system also results in low running costs and a long battery lifespan.

The disc-cut mowing system with three free-swinging blades, combined with the high blade speed, results in a perfect cutting pattern and smooth finish. By automatically adapting the drive speed to the terrain, the iMOW 7 PRO ensures the grass is mowed optimally in all conditions.

The iMOW 7 PRO comes equipped with the new Duro blades, lasting twice as long compared to the standard blades thanks to their hardened outer layer. The mowing direction is swapped at regular intervals, ensuring the blade is worn evenly for an even longer lifespan.

Connection to the machine can be made via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or via mobile phone connection, allowing full visibility of the iMOW’s status from anywhere in the world. As well as the My iMOW App, the iMOW 7 PRO can also be managed in the STIHL Connected fleet management system, ideal for businesses with a large and varied fleet of petrol and battery machines.
