New model in the Logic salt spreader range
Logic has recently enhanced its salt spreader range with the introduction of the PDS150T, a 3 point linkage model, designed for compact tractors with at least 25hp and 550kg lift capacity. It is hydraulically driven, has a 270 litre hopper, category 1 and 2 linkage points and integral support legs for easy attachment and storage.
Like all Logic GDS and PDS salt spreader models it features a moving-floor conveyor system similar to highway sized salt spreaders to convey the salt to the spinning disc, together with a unique full length hopper agitation system to ensure there is no bridging with any material including wet rock salt.
The hopper, spreading disc and peripheral components are stainless steel for long life. The application control is accurate, easy to adjust and has the ability to spread varying widths and to cast to left or right under parked cars etc.
The Logic salt spreader range offers trailed or deck mounted models with hydraulic, engine or ground driven operation to enable use with a huge range of suitable host vehicles.
GDS150 models have 270 litre capacity and are ideal for single track roads, pathways, pedestrian precincts cycle-ways and any weight sensitive areas.
GDS250 models have a larger hopper capacity of 465 litres and are perfect for car parks, dual lane carriageways and industrial estates etc.
PDS354RB trailed, engine driven model, is perfect for multiple sites where travelling at normal road speeds is required and with 585 litres capacity will cover a significant area with each fill. PDS354D deck mounted model has a gross weight of 1000kg which allows it to be used in pick-ups and other similar vehicles.
PDS150D deck mounted model has 270 litre capacity and is sized to fit onto the rear platforms of UTVs and is ideal for confined areas, cycle-ways, paths and car parks etc.
The PDS150F and F1 fork lift models, with 270 litre capacity have simple pallet tine tubes to slip into with locking pins behind the tine uprights. There is a choice of hydraulic pump to suit the flowrate of the host vehicle. These are ideal for factory sites and industrial areas.
There is a model to suit most host vehicles to provide a quick-attach, reliable, efficient winter maintenance unit.
