Duralock Performance Fencing Launches New Product

Duralock has recently launched a new revolutionary product under it’s canopy of Performance fencing products in the racing sector, which is set to offer the industry versatility for course design.

The innovative mobile racerail has been designed with the company’s values at its’ core: safety, strength and innovative design. Designed by Jason Jones and Jack Green, and made from Duralock’s specialised PVC formula, the barrier features a weighted foot rail to ensure stability.

‘It has been specially designed for the new all-weather track at Newcastle Racecourse by commission, to match the rest of their Duralock system, including racerail and crowd barriers, which has recently been installed extensively across the site.’

The mobile racerail provides an excellent temporary railing system, which despite its mobility, is still able to withstand impacts to the same degree as permanently installed racerail. ‘We are extremely conscious that all of our products meet both our exacting standards and also that of racing authorities worldwide’ explains Jack Green.

The product was tested at Lambourn gallops under the watchful eye of Richard Linley, Chief Inspector of the Courses for Jockey Club Estates. As with all new entries into the market, the Duralock barrier was subject to strict tests to prove its durability, safety and suitability for application, which it passed with flying colours.

Whilst Newcastle Racecourse will be the first to receive the newly designed movable racerail barriers, the system has been designed with worldwide delivery in mind. The flat-pack model has been developed for the most cost-effective and efficient shipping; meaning that Duralock’s new product will soon be seen across the globe alongside it’s other fencing systems on the track.
