Line marking and autumn fertilizers get top billing on Rigby Taylor’s SALTEX stand G060.
The highly successful TinyLineMarking robot will be centre stage along with two new iGO spray line markers.
The Tiny, autonomous line marking robot has been a major hit with contractors, schools and local authorities, providing huge savings in time and cost. A typical time for a single groundsman to mark out a standard size football pitch is less than 20 minutes, and a 400 metre running track in just 100 minutes!
Collinda Le Gall, operations manager for the South East contractor Norse Medway stated following the purchase of a TinyLineMarking robot. “The prospect of at least a 30% time saving on 68 pitches compared to manual marking, plus the resulting additional benefits in cost and labour resources proved irresistible.”
Proving irresistible will also be the new iGO spray line markers being launched at SALTEX. The iGO Prime and iGO Midi can both mark up to 8 pitches from just one 10 litre drum of Impact ready-to-use paint. Both machines feature the innovative Circulatory Paint System that continuously re-circulates paint during the marking operation; improving flow to help sustain a consistent spray, particularly useful in cold conditions.
For turf nutrition, the company will be launching Autumn Green BiO (3-0-12+8Fe+6CaO+2MgO Plus BiO Pack+Zeolite) a combination of ingredients that ensure enhanced plant health, improved disease resistance, rapid green- up and extended 2-3 months of colour. Autumn application will also yield the benefits of increased carbohydrate storage and a quicker plant recovery in spring. The incorporation of zeolite, reduces leaching and improves Cation Exchange Capacity. The micro granular fertilizer contains seaweed and lignite which, when applying at 35gm/mt is the equivalent of 8 applications of a liquid seaweed. Lignite and seaweed improve cytokinin and auxin production, promoting cell division and elongation.
