KUHN Offers a Range of Machinery Especially for Local Authorities

International agricultural machinery manufacturer, KUHN, now offers a range of machinery specially designed for local authorities, highways agencies and roadside contractors. The KUHN Amenity Pro range includes a comprehensive line up of hedge and grass cutters with working widths from 4.3 to 5.7m and roadside mowers with working widths from 1.6 to 2.3m.

The Longer range of hedge and grass cutters is available in 5 models. However it is the larger Multi-Longer 5757 SPAL and Pro-Longer 5783 SPAL, designed for annual workloads of 800 and 1500 hours respectively, that are more suited to the demands of roadside maintenance.

Standard spec includes; OPTIview parallelogram pivot mounted semi leading arm, 116 degrees of slew, 1.2m flail head, oversized air-cooled radiator, 4 function joystick with electric proportional control, lights and warning sign.

KUHN Amenity Pro, Spring-Longer roadside mower is available in three models; M-1680RP,

M-2080RP and M-2380RP to produce cutting widths of 1.6m, 2.0m and 2.3m. The M-1680RP and

M-2080RP mowers can be mounted on the front or the rear of the tractor, allowing the extra option of combination with the Longer hedge and grass cutters to produce a high output.

With the hydraulic pivot concept, the mower unit can horizontally offset 900mm to avoid obstacles easily and effectively. For maximum versatility, the Spring-Longer models are equipped with a hydraulic lift function that automatically compensates for the humps and hollows along the verge. To improve flexibility and reduce mechanical stress all three models are equipped with a double hydraulic safety function allowing the mower to retract forward or backwards depending on mounting position.
