Fife Council upgrades Wessex Proline fleet with latest model
Fife Council has replaced its fleet of Wessex Proline roller mowers with an almost identical model eight years on.
This month they took delivery of seven RMX500s from local dealer, Fairways GM at Kinross.
Receiving the new Wessex International fleet was Fife Council’s Darren Kenny, who is in charge of the Council’s workshop and machinery.
The RMX500s are acknowledged as setting a benchmark for high output roller mowers covering vast area quickly and efficiently. British made, these popular rigid deck units have both fast tip and cutting speeds and come with a remarkably narrow transport width, which is hugely beneficial for moving them from job to job. They cut in all conditions, even in the wet, leaving an even finish.
Installation and familiarisation training was given by Wessex Internationals’ Steven Brown and Fairways GM’s Rob Hogarth.
